New Tales of Dagur Release.

Posted on Sunday 26 March 2006

I have finally completed the awaited saving system on Tales of Dagur.
It will save to any FAT compatible device such as the GBAMP.

Edit: Now supports SRAM saving for Flashcarts and M3SD (use .ds.gba version and use A to boot) Tested on my M3SD and 2 Flashcarts.

This peice of homebrew is a brilliant work of art. I hope you continue to develop it and actually get a game out there. I will be following it and wish you the best of luck. Brakken out.

Great job! I love how it looks and it even has a soundtrack. =D

Now that saving works, I can play without fear of random freezes. I can’t wait to see how the game plays out!

I did find one sort of minor bug in the Shop, though. When you sell an item, it’s programmed such that the game removes the item from your inventory first and then gives you the amount of money for the item. What it’s doing, though, is giving you the amount of money listed for the item -below- the item that is sold (when you only have one of the item you’re selling).

For example, I found this bug by trying to sell a Full Pot. (which is supposed to give you 450) and recieving 200 for the Ether listed below it.

Anyway, I wasn’t sure where to properly report bugs, so this will have to do!

Thanks again for all your hard work! This project has incredible potential (and it’s already awesome for homebrew)!

What about making a release that saves to sram so the m3sd users can use the save system

Is it working on Supercard SD? I can’t get it to work.

Seems a great homebrew game, as far as the screens can show me ;)
